Terms and Conditions

Check-in

Check-in is from 10am. 15:00 until the reception closes. Please let us know in good time if you expect late arrival.

Check-out

Unless otherwise agreed with the reception, the cabin must be vacated and cleaned before noon on the day of departure. This is for new guests. Failure to check-out at the scheduled time may be charged. additional costs incurred due to delay.

If we do not get in touch with you, we have the right to move out your belongings / luggage to enable cleaning for future guests. We will charge you for cleaning.

If the cottage is not cleaned, a cleaning fee of at least SEK 500 and an additional SEK 500 will be charged for each hour started.

Cancellation condition

1. Free cancellation up to one week before check-in, the prepayment is refunded except for the service charge of SEK 27.

2. With less than one week left, an administrative fee of SEK 250 will be charged and any remaining prepayment will be refunded.

3. With less than 24 hours left to check in, we take the first night as an administrative fee and any remaining prepayment is refunded.

NOTE! Cancellation must be confirmed by staff. Not showing up is not counted as a cancellation and no money will be refunded.

Rebooking 

If you want to change the dates of your booking, you may do so up to one week before at no extra charge – provided that on the date you want to change is available.

Confirmation

You will receive a written confirmation of your booking. It contains important information regarding your booking. Make sure the content of the booking confirmation matches what you booked. If you find any errors in the confirmation, please inform us as soon as possible. The booking will only be confirmed upon prepayment received.

When will my booking become binding?

The booking will become binding when we receive advance payment from you unless otherwise agreed with us.

Keys 

You must return all the keys to your cabin upon departure. If you forget, we have to change the locks at your expense. The cost will be invoiced.

Age limit for booking and access

To book / enter into an agreement with us you must be 18 years of age. When booking a group, at least two persons must be 18 years of age, if no higher age limit is specified in connection with the booking.

However, single parents living with several children are exempt from this requirement. Identification at check-in may occur.

Damages / losses 

The campsite host or staff is not responsible for damage or loss of the camping guests’ property. You are responsible for all damages that occur on the property, service house and its inventor, if you or someone in your company is negligent. Anyone who damages buildings, materials or inventors at the campsite, or guests’ property, can be made liable for compensation.

Sublease 

Camping guests do not have the right to rent or rent the cottage in the other. You must not let more people stay overnight in the cottage / campsite than you stated at the time of booking.

Sale on campsite

Sales at and within the campsite may only occur with the condition of the campsite.

What are my rights?

In the event of our breach of contract, serious disruption or if the service otherwise deviates from information that we have provided or what you could reasonably expect, you have the right to demand remediation, price reduction or cancellation. 

Breach of contract or other defect in the service due to causes beyond our control does not entitle you to compensation under this agreement (see the paragraph limits for the campsite’s control responsibility below). Errors detected upon access, such as poor cleaning, should be reported to the staff immediately.

If this is not done within 60 minutes of entry, we cannot offer any compensation. Errors that occur during your stay should be reported to us immediately so that we have the opportunity to correct the error.

If you fail to report errors, you also cannot claim compensation. If you have received compensation but are not satisfied with this, you must notify us within 3 weeks (21 days) after departure. This must be done in writing or via e-mail. We recommend email.

Limits for the campings responsibility
In the event that the stay cannot be completed due to an obstacle beyond our control and which we reasonably could not have expected when the agreement was concluded and whose consequences we could not reasonably have avoided or overcome, we are free from liability or other penalties.
If the obstacle is due to someone we have hired to carry out the camping service in whole or in part, we are free from liability only if the person we have hired would also be free according to the paragraph above. The same applies if the defect is due to a supplier we have hired or someone else in the previous stage.
Damages 

Minor damage to furniture is compensated by the tenant with a reasonable sum if, after consultation, we conclude that it is reasonable according to the prevailing specific circumstances of the situation. Total destroyed equipment is reimbursed by the tenant according to following pricelist .

If something is broken or missing in the cabin, notify the reception immediately, we can fix the problem as soon as possible (according to point 5 of the rental conditions).

What happens if we can not agree?

If we cannot agree, you can take advantage of the following dispute resolutions::

  • The General Complaints Board (see address below) The General Complaints Board is an approved dispute resolution body in accordance with the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act. We will follow ARN’s recommendations.

  • You can also turn to the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform: http://ec.europa.eu/odr

We do not undertake to participate in any alternative dispute resolution procedures other than the above but will address this issue in the event of a dispute. You are also free to take the dispute to public court.

Payment

Booked via http://www.booking.com

When booking via Booking, you can either pay directly or choose to enter your card details only. If you choose to only enter your card details, the booking is not paid and no money will be deducted from the card. Then you pay instead at check-in.

Mail, phone or drop-in

You normally pay one night in advance and the balance at check-in.

You pay at the time of booking.

Late or non-payment

If you do not pay on time, we have the right to cancel your booking. If you are late with your final payment and despite reminders do not pay the full amount, it is counted as a cancellation on your part and then the rules for cancellation apply.

Rules of conduct

Garbage

Dump station is at the intersection (see map). Here are containers for household waste and glass. For plastics, paper, metal and batteries, we refer to Lits recycling center. No debris may be placed next to the containers. If the containers are full contact the reception. Other waste such as refrigerators, plastic furniture, paint residues, grills, carpets, iron scrap and other environmentally hazardous waste must be disposed of to the municipality’s recycling center.

Implantation prohibited

The planting of flowers, trees or shrubs next to or at a cottage is strictly prohibited.

Car wash

Car wash may only be done at the designated location (in this case the nearest car wash) and not in the car park.

Safety

Fire safety equipment is checked and replaced at regular intervals by personnel. Should these detect malfunction during your stay please contact the staff immediately.

Vehicle

Do not disturb the tranquility of the campsite with motorized vehicles more than absolutely necessary. Drive at walking speed and as short distances as possible. Swedish vehicles shall, unless otherwise agreed, be approved by Svensk Bilprovning, taxed & traffic insured. Caravans shall, unless otherwise agreed, be registered and not subject to a driving ban. 

Only one car per campsite / cabin is allowed. Motor vehicle traffic is only allowed between the entrance of the area and its own place of residence. Parking is done within the campsite’s own or in the parking lot. In case of incorrect parking, compensation may be required. Diesel plants are not allowed to use

Dog owner 

Dog owners are asked to show the greatest possible consideration to other guests. Keep the dog on a leash, do not break the dog outside someone’s cabin and / or caravan / camper and always pick it up after it. Dogs are also not allowed in the public areas (kitchen, laundry, toilets, dressing rooms and showers).

Parking

Maximum one car per cabin is allowed. Additional cars are referred to the car park in front of the reception. Under no circumstances may sites other than your own be used for parking. Cars that occupy another camping site or parking will be paid compensation in the form of a fee corresponding to the price of the campsite during high season.

Maintenance

Maintenance of the camping such as mowing and watering flowers is provided by the staff.

Check-out

The cottage should be left in a well-cleaned and well-prepared condition. If this has not happened, the campsite performs the work and invoices the guest with 500: – / hour started.

Visitors

Temporary visitors must register at the reception and be asked to park their vehicle in the parking lot outside the reception.

Smoking ban

It is forbidden to smoke in all common areas and cabins at the campsite. If the smoking ban is not respected, a cleaning cost of at least SEK 3,000 will be charged

Disturbing behavior

A general rule in campsites is to show consideration. We assume that all campers take into account each other and help to keep things organized. Disturbing behavior is not allowed. Between 7 p.m. At 23:00 and 07:00 it should be quiet at the campsite.

Compensation may be required by disturbing guest / guests. Any disturbing guests may be forced to leave the place immediately.

Canoe

Before

Reservation 

Booking is done by phone or mail. Mail is preferred as it is easy to miss details over the phone. We always make individual cost proposals according to your specific needs and help you along the way to plan your canoe trip with us. 

What is reserved in connection with booking is the transport date, number of people and canoes. Other equipment is more flexible and can be booked in advance or on site subject to availability

Payment

The booking will only be confirmed once we have received a prepayment. For canoe trips, the advance payment is the transport cost to your starting point. Advance payment must be made in connection with booking otherwise we cannot guarantee that you will get the date you wish.

We offer invoice, online payment or Swish.

Avbokning 

Free cancellation up to 14 days before departure with the exception of the service charge of SEK 27.

With less than 14 days before departure, we charge an administrative fee of SEK 500 per transport and the remaining advance payment is refunded. 

Nothing less is refunded with less than 72 hours before departure. 

NOTE! Cancellation must be confirmed by staff Not showing up is not counted as a cancellation and no money will be refunded.

Transport 

Collection takes place at 09:00 at the reception on the day of transport unless otherwise agreed. We expect the whole company to have packed and ready to start packing in the car and loading canoes.

We together we go through the last before you turn, write rental contracts and resolve payment. In some cases, transport may need to be coordinated with another group if necessary.

However, it does not entitle to a discounted transport cost for the individual groups. Possibility of access to packing barrels the night before is available to have good time to sample pack. Please contact reception.

Areas 

Canoe rental is intended to be used on any of Lits Camping’s known waters unless otherwise agreed. If the canoe is to be used in another place that Lits Camping does not know, a blue paddle or higher can be displayed for at least one individual in the group.

Days rent 

In addition to the general conditions, customers who only rent during the day have a responsibility to return all equipment at least one hour before the reception closes. If there are any delays or problems to get back in time please contact us as soon as we know that you are safe and on your way.

During

Own risk 

All paddling is at your own risk. It is up to each individual to be aware of the various risks that come with paddling and to be prepared for these before embarking. Canoeing / kayaking is considered to be any other recreational boat. It is your responsibility as a customer to comply with applicable sea rules. For companies and schools, we expect that there is at least one knowledgeable leader who is responsible for the group and that there are insurance policies that cover any material damage or, in the worst case, personal injury.

Right of public access

Each individual has their own responsibility to know about the Right of Public Access and act accordingly. When fishing, each individual must hold a valid fishing license and comply with applicable rules.

Equipment

It is mandatory to always wear life jackets on the water. Lits Camping accepts no responsibility for damages arising from careless behavior.

Examples of careless behavior on the water can be:
  • Not wearing life-jackets 
  • Not wearing enough clothes
  • Not eating or drinking 
  • Paddling where it’s forbidden to paddle
  • Stand up or otherwise risk tipping the canoe
  • Exceeding the maximum number of people in a canoe

Exempel på vårdslöst beteende på land: 

  • Place packing barrels / life jackets too near the fire 
  • Pull two canoes with a canoe wagon at the same time
  • Pulling the canoe over rocks and gravel
  • Do not moor the canoe properly 
  • Do not arrange equipment such as paddles, axes, spirits etc.
  • Consuming excessive amount of alcohol or drugs
  • Lits Camping has a responsibility to ensure that the equipment that is rented is in a seaworthy and otherwise functional condition. Then it is the customer’s responsibility to return the equipment in the same condition. If a fault or defect is detected on any of the equipment, Lits Camping should be contacted immediately to be able to correct the problem.
  • Lits Camping cannot guarantee that the packing areas are completely waterproof. It is up to the customer to protect equipment such as valuables, sleeping bags and the like from water.

After

Return of equipment 

All equipment must be cleaned and cleaned before return. Canoes / kayaks should be returned washed out and laid with the bottom upwards in the appropriate place. On kayaks, even packing spaces must be emptied and washed out. If this is not followed, Lits Camping will charge at least SEK 200 per canoe / kayak. 

Upon return, damage or defects in equipment must be reported immediately. Smaller equipment such as pack barrels, paddles and life jackets will be returned to reception. Trangia kitchen / kitchen equipment is returned discreetly.

Example of an unspecified location:

  • Waterfalls
  • Forbidden rapids
  • Power stations
  • Dams

Any damage caused to rented equipment will be charged to the customer. Check with your insurance company what your home insurance covers. Total destroyed equipment is replaced by the tenant according to this pricelist.

Equipment damage 

In the event of injuries sustained during the canoe trip, you may be liable for compensation. As a customer, you risk up to SEK 1000 in deductible in the event of normal damage.

Example of normal damage:

  • Larger holes 
  • Broken tires on the canoe / kayak wagon  
  • Broken paddle
  • Broken seats
  • Broken clasps 

In the event of gross negligence, you may be liable for compensation up to 75% of the purchase price of the equipment or canoe.

Example of abnormal damage:

  • Fire
  • Damage caused by own transport of the canoe
  • Damage caused by the customer has exceeded the maximum number of people in the canoe

In the event of abnormal damage, you may be liable for compensation up to 75% of the purchase price.

When paddling in an unspecified location you may be liable to pay up to 75%

Camping

Terms and conditions

Check-in

Keys
You must return all the keys to your camping site upon departure. If you forget it, we will remove your key from the system and you will be charged the cost of the new key + 300 SEK administrative cost. The cost will be invoiced.

All equipments (caravans / camper vans / tents / awnings) must be placed on the camping site according to. the State Rescue Agency’s general advice and comments on fire protection at campsites. The shipowners who act in a different way shall immediately change the arrangement according to notice. above. If not, the guest can be rejected from the campsite.

As a guest at Lits Camping, you are obliged to know and follow the rules of order. These can be updated on an ongoing basis. You are responsible for keeping yourself updated via www.litscamping.com

Security of wagon and site

The tenant is responsible for all security in the trolley and on rented land. This means, among other things, annual inspection of gas plant, smoke alarms and fire extinguishers. Gas test certificates must be presented on request. Seasonal guests are required to have their equipment inspected and insured.

When moving

The site must be left in a well-cleaned and prepared condition and must be approved by a representative from Lits Camping. If this has not happened, the campsite performs the work and invoices the guest with 500: – / hour started. Floors that remain after the season and where no new agreement has been drawn up, floors are removed etc. and driven to the dumps for a charge of 500: – / hour. Don’t forget to return the key at reception. If this is not done, the key will be removed from the system and the cost of a new key will be charged to the guest.

Seasonal camping

The rules below are a supplement for you as a seasonal guest, which applies in addition to the general rules of procedure for Lits Camping.

Summer season

Summer season applies for the period 01.05-30.09. Seasonal rent is paid in connection with check-in. If you only want to stand for part of the period and choose to pay monthly, payment must be made no later than the 28th of each month and apply for the coming month. 

If payment is not made according to the specified conditions, the campsite has the right to withhold caravan / motorhome as collateral for the claim arising and also has the right to move it within the area. 

The guest is not allowed to dispose of the carriage until the rent is fully paid provided that the amount in question is not small.

Winter season

Winter season applies for the period 01.10-30.04. Seasonal rent is paid in connection with check-in. If you only want to stand for part of the period and choose to pay monthly, payment must be made no later than the 28th of each month and apply for the coming month. 

If payment is not made according to the specified conditions, the campsite has the right to withhold caravan / motorhome as collateral for the claim arising and also has the right to move it within the area. The guest is not allowed to dispose of the carriage until the rent is fully paid provided that the amount in question is not small.

*Exceptions may exist e.g. In extreme weather conditions or Force majeure.

Rental contract

Lease At check-in, a complete rental contract must be signed with Lits Camping. The tenant has the main responsibility to visit the reception and sign the lease in connection with the check-in.

The contract specifies rental terms, which campsite seasonal guest rents from Lits Camping and what keys the guest receives in connection with check-in. In connection with check-in Lits Camping takes personal information such as name, social security number, telephone number of all persons who will be staying in the caravan / motorhome with the exception of children under 15 years. 

The agreement terminates without notice at the end of the contract period. At the end of the contract period, the camping guest is responsible for returning keys. NOTE! The agreement will also terminate without notice of payment for the coming month being absent.

Winter lineups

Lits Camping also offers winter lineup of caravans / motorhomes at a cost of SEK 495 / month excluding electricity and 995 SEK / month incl. electricity. A separate agreement is signed for winter setup. Lits Camping reserves the right to choose which guests are offered winter lineup.

No caravan may be placed on the site before contacting Lits Camping. It is not allowed to sell / transfer trolley with land.

Payment

Payment is via invoice, Swish or on-site at reception. A billing fee of SEK 27 will apply if you choose to pay via invoice. Requests for deferred payment may be granted against interest. If payment is due after the due date, a reminder fee of SEK 60 will be charged on occasion and interest on interest of 8% per commenced 30-day period.

Generella byggregler

In addition to traditional awnings and cars, no other buildings and equipment may be erected on the site. The principle is that everything must be definable for camping, ie temporary accommodation on wheels and must be able to be moved at short notice. The following rules apply at Lits Camping:

– Awnings, standby tents and nail tents (mounted in sections and easily removable) are allowed with a maximum width of the caravan width. 

– Wooden decks may be built within their own campsite. Wooden deck, paving or electricity. like. outside your own campsite is not allowed.

– Paving within the own campsite is not allowed. 

– No railings, walls, planks or fences may be erected either adjacent to a wooden deck or adjacent to another campsite. 

– No plantings in soil may be performed. Plants may only be planted in pots and should be placed within their own campsite. 

– Storage spaces such as cushions and the like are allowed on the wooden deck with a height of max. 1.1 m. 

– Fire protection distance of 4 m between caravans must be maintained. 

– Caravans must not be constructed to free up space under the caravan for storage. 

– Stairs and bridges are not allowed (except for the general jetty of the campsite and the stairs that the technical management will construct in predetermined locations.)

Secondary Tenure

Seasonal parking may only be used by registered tenants. Second-hand hiring is strictly prohibited and it is not allowed to register at the campsite. Seasonal guests are those belonging to the family and who reside at the same address. Pets are welcome but only by arrangement with Lits Camping. Rental or lending of seasonal or on-site equipment is prohibited.

Approval of regulations

In connection with the guest paying his seasonal fee, he confirms that he has approved the above regulations and undertook to adhere to the same. Guests who are unable to comply with these rules risk immediate termination. 

Lits Camping disclaims all liability for theft and damage to guests and their property. We also reserve the right, at the guest’s own expense and without deduction for paid rent, to immediately evict guests who do not abide by the above rules and the instructions given by the campsite management or staff. 

The tenant is responsible for ensuring that his own visitors follow the rules, instructions and regulations that apply. The regulations that are on the website are always the ones that apply. Updating of regulations may occur, as a seasonal guest you are responsible for keeping up to date on, and following, the regulations. 

Seasonal or monthly rentals are non-refundable upon cancellation.

GDPR

Why do we collect your personal information?
If you book accommodation with us, we process your personal information in order to provide, manage, administer, follow up and charge for your booking. 
This also includes our treatment in order to remind or inform you of your booking in connection with your stay. It is imperative that you provide the information we require in order for us to handle your booking. 
When you book for another, you are liable to us that you have permission from the other person or persons that Lits Camping & Kanot processes its personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Information we may collect from you:
  1. Identity information e.g name
  2. Contact details eg e-mail address, telephone number, address
  3. IP address (if you book through our website) 
  4. Desires and other needs
  5.  Sensitive personal information such as information about your health condition (eg if you book a disabled room) 
  6. Other information you provide in connection with your booking (eg about your travel company) 
  7. Receipt information, e.g. information on completed purchases
What information about you do we collect? 

By “personal data” is meant all information that can be directly or indirectly linked to a living natural person. We only process your personal information in accordance with applicable law. We may collect personal data directly from you when using our booking system (Sirvoy, Booking.com).

To whom do we disclose your personal information?
We may disclose your personal information to our subcontractors, such as providing IT services or assisting us with analysis or statistics. 

We only disclose personal data for purposes that are consistent with the purposes for which we have collected them. We may disclose your personal information to the police if we are required by law to do so.

How do we protect your personal information?
We have taken appropriate measures to protect your personal data from eg. loss, tampering or unauthorized access. We continuously adapt our security measures to maintain a high level of security.
Changes to our Privacy Policy
